Travel Trailers

Except for the assignment of an RV plate, a travel trailer is treated the same as any other trailer (refer to Chapter 13 Section A, Recreational Travel Trailers)

Truck Campers

A truck camper is treated the same as any other passenger vehicle.

Slide-in campers, chassis-mount campers and pickup covers or camper shells are generally not considered to be eligible for RV plates because the camping bodies are not permanently attached.
